Of Swords and Parasols

Ep 8:

Angel makes me sad when she stops trying to save Dorothy from Alan when Roger’s mentioned. But then, I guess realizing the guy you like is all about his android maid is a tough one to adjust to. Not, of course, that Roger realizes it yet. Thankfully, learning Dorothy was in trouble cut off Roger’s oncoming identity crisis. Sure, it resulted in his leaving Big O to be pounded(but Big O told him to, so it’s ok) so he could go rescue her, but it saved us from more tomatoes and barcodes and bald kids flashbacks. Our villain, whose name I don’t recall atm, objects to his megadeus not liking him. As in, "hugging the chair and ranting" objects. And what was that scene with Dastan and Angel at the end, hmm?

Ep. 9

Roger is menaced by a 2 ft tall robot recreation of a megadeus that stomps across the dinner table. And has tomato flashbacks. Angel wanders around in the rain without an umbrella while everyone else is sensible and uses an umbrella. Roger stands in the rain holding flower stems. Alan makes "I’ll get you, and your little android, too" noises. Dorothy announces that she also knows how to lie. The city is menaced by a three headed sea monster that shoots lightning just as Roger was buying Dorothy flowers. Dorothy dons her own catsuit to save Roger and what’s left of her flowers. It was sweet.

Ep 10

Dorothy seems to disapprove of this whole "lying" thing. It’s for the best as far as she goes. For some bizarre reason, Alan has freed Beck from prison so he can help with the megadeuses. I feel I will never be free of Beck. Angel is now huddling in subways. Our Villain and Tomato man have a father son moment. ‘Twas a touch surreal. Roger is also talking and thinking about tomatoes more and more. I think he’s turned me off of them forever. Norman also tells Dorothy to hide when the house is attacked. I think he’s a touch confused. He also has his own batarang.

My overall understanding lessens, but my enjoyment does not. 

And that’s what matters.
