There's considerably more than 2 girls (5 in the main cast, several recurring) but I assume you meant "two girls kissing".

It's..unknown at this point? Tilda (shorter hair with bangs) is one of the main characters, and is most likely to be in an endgame relationship with one of the two male leads, though they've been separated the whole season so far. The other girl, Odessa (longer hair that's pulled up, a lot curvier) is new this season and we don't know much about her yet. There was a rumor during hiatus that a character would be queer, and the showrunners confirmed it, but whether they meant Tilda, Odessa or both is still up in the air. (Tilda was definitely returning the kiss, though, so odds are good they she's being confirmed as bisexual.)

I will say that, while I think the pairing has a lot of potential, I was uneasy with how the kissing happened, as it pretty literally went "Let me explain the most traumatizing event of my past so you'll understand why I'm so loyal to the person you were just insulting" "Bummer. Let's make out."

So I doubt it's queerbaiting as the showrunners have stated that a major character will be queer in canon, but there's still room for the "dead lesbian" trope, or for Odessa to be an "evil lesbian" or a straight woman who recognized Tilda's interest even if Tilda wasn't aware of it and took advantage of it. They've been playing up the subtext since the first scene between the characters, but Odessa has been left deliberately ambiguous enough that I honestly have no idea how it'll go.

Despite being post apocalyptic wuxia set in a thoroughly depressing world, the show so far mostly avoids killing off sympathetic characters (I mean, as compared to other similar shows) and there haven't been any moments so far where it's like the show's stabbed you in the back as far as character reveals go. I'm not worried about Tilda at all-the show runners know that all the main female characters are either liked or loved by most fans (Like, seriously, this is a western show where you might go to the tags and see someone angry with something a female character did that episode, but there's no consistent hate or people ranting about how so and so female character sucks.)-and don't seem interested in doing anything permanently terrible to them. (Traumatic backstories are another matter.) So its really more a question of if they plan to kill Odessa off, or make her evil.

Yeah. I bounce off of most sitcoms, so I get very protective of the ones I do like.
